The Museum in the Classroom Awards have been devised to recognise the efforts by teachers and children in creating their own Museum in the Classroom. This is not a competition but an opportunity to show your children’s efforts and inspire others to take up the challenge for the following year.

Entries are judged on the process as well as the results; and also on the presentation of the entry. Ten awards, each worth £250, are presented to the school; the schools use the money towards a visit to a museum, gallery or science centre of their choice. A certificate is also presented to the school.
